Employment Law
I handle mostly single or class action plaintiff discrimination claims against large corporations or small businesses. I take employment discrimination cases based on Title VII, wrongful termination, negligent supervision or retention, Civil Rights Act of 1866, or a constructive discharge. Maryland is an at-will employment state, meaning an employer can legally fire you or take adverse employment action against you for any reason besides discrimination. Whether you were given a non-discriminatory reason for your adverse employment action or not you might still have a claim for employment discrimination. I have experience with employment discrimination cases not only as an attorney but also as a plaintiff myself.
Contracts
Plaintiff or Defendant side contract disputes. I handle any kind of contract issues from drafting and reviewing contracts, to breach and filing formal complaints. I handle small sales contracts, to drafting business contracts, to large corporate contracts.Contracts can be very elaborate, time consuming, and confusing. There are so many provisions and clauses in any kind of contract that can make or break any parties duties, having an attorney that understands all different kinds of contract issues can save you from breach.
Large Claim Torts
Plaintiff side large claims/insurance. I handle any torts that have damages over $5,000 which involve fraud, wage claims, negligence, or insurance disputes. I take on any tort cases that involve large amounts of damages and that can also include multiple parties. These cases tend to be very time consuming, complex, and lengthy. These kinds of cases can be very expensive and could take almost two years to ever get to a trial.
